Dear Trainers,

I created a pcf trying to find stocks that are in a downtrend and have gone up the past 7 days with lower volume comparing to the avg volume of the last 21 days before the 7 day rally.  Can you tell me if I have written this pcf correctly

AVGV7<AVGV21.7

thanks,

james

As long as youre aware that you are comparing a 7day avg with a 21 day avg seven bars ago.

If you want to use the same avg length you would do something like:

AVGV21<AVGV21.7

This asks that the 21avg today is less than the 21 avg 7 bars ago.

Also your PCF doesnt check price.

You may want to add:

AVGV21<AVGV21.7ANDC>C7

Thanks
