is there a way to write a formula to scan for stocks that have bollinger bands either upper or lower within keltner channel??

You add both Bollinger Bands and Keltener Channels to the chart and select Create Scan Condition to create a condition for the upper Bollinger Band being below the upper Keltner Channel. You can also create a condition for the lower Bollinger Band being above the lower Keltner Channel. If you add both conditions to the same EasyScan, it will check for both conditions being true at the same time.
You cannot use the same technique to OR the conditions to check if either one of the conditions is true.
Since the centerlines don't match, it would generally be a much better idea to just check to see if the width of the Bollinger Bands is less than the width of the Keltner Channels.
