I just noticed in a video that Platinum offers tick charts.
What # of ticks are the charts?
Can I change the # of ticks?

Each tick bar is exactly 1 trade. There is no way to create a bar with x ticks in it as a tick chart in TC2000.
As with other time frames, there will be a generalized limit of about 500 bars in the time frame, but this can get larger as the trading day progresses.

As stated, tick charts are available in TC2000 Platinum. Each bar on a tick chart is exactly 1 tick or trade. There is no way to set up tick charts with a different number of bars per tick.
The 500 bar limit refers to the number of bars that are available in any given time frame in TC2000 version 12.4. So for a daily chart, there would be about 500 bars of data or about 2 years of daily data available.
The same holds true for a tick chart. You generally are not going to have more than the most recent 500 bars of tick data available at the most. The amount of time available and covered by those 500 bars can vary dramatically for a tick chart based on how active the stock is.

Hi, Bruce.
1. In StockFinder the limitation is 5000 bars instead of 500 in TC2000.
But StockFinder is a legacy product and won't be developed further as I know.
It would be great if you could get some nice features of StockFinder and add them to TC2000.
2. Another desirable improvement for me is adding feature to set number of ticks to TC2000.
These two features are the most desirable for me ...

Would be great (and i dont see why would not be easy to implement) Tick Charts where in you could select Tick Data and Set to 25 ticks 50 ticks, 100 ticks etc
Each candle would represent the tick selection ie 25 tick makes up the candle

This has been asked several times before in the past 3 yrs. They have been faithfully forwarded to the development team,
Like all the other user requested feature that has not seen the green light, I doubt anything will happen to this in the next few yrs either.
