I would like to see on each chart in my watchlist an indication when IBM is up this month, but the stock in my watchlist is down this month.
Can a symbol be used in an indicator or condition? If so, how? If not, is there another way to screen for the condition noted above?
Thank you!

There isn't a way to do this in a single Condition Formula or EasyScan currently. This means there isn't a way to plot this on the chart as a Custom PCF % True Indicator.
About the best thing I can suggest would be to create a Condition Formula for a negative Net Change in price:
C < C1

And then add it to an EasyScan as an EasyScan Condition. You will be able to set the time frame of the EasyScan Condition in the EasyScan to Monthly.
Building a Scan with Multiple Conditions
The EasyScan would return a list of symbols in its List to Scan meeting all of the requirements of the EasyScan (having a negative net change for the Time Frame of the Condition Formula we created earlier).
This does not check for IBM having a positive net change. You would need to manually check on that on your own.
