I'm trying to make my scan conditions even more specific. Rate this Topic:

I have created a list of scan conditions which I use to give alerts. One of these conditions is the Elliott Wave Oscillator being above zero. Is it possible to create a condition with the Elliott Wave Oscillator where I will only be alerted within the first 15 periods of the Elliott Wave Oscillator being above zero and will reset once the Elliott Wave goes negative and back positive again?

You could try something similar to the following Condition Formula:

AVGC5 > AVGC35 AND (AVGC5.1 < AVGC35.1 OR AVGC5.2 < AVGC35.2 OR AVGC5.3 < AVGC35.3 OR AVGC5.4 < AVGC35.4 OR AVGC5.5 < AVGC35.5 OR AVGC5.6 < AVGC35.6 OR AVGC5.7 < AVGC35.7 OR AVGC5.8 < AVGC35.8 OR AVGC5.9 < AVGC35.9 OR AVGC5.10 < AVGC35.10 OR AVGC5.11 < AVGC35.11 OR AVGC5.12 < AVGC35.12 OR AVGC5.13 < AVGC35.13 OR AVGC5.14 < AVGC35.14 OR AVGC5.15 < AVGC35.15)
