Am trying to do a PCF for gap up using O, O1, C and C1, so the gap is based on the body of the candles not using the shadows, also for a gap down -  any combination I use seems ok syntax wise, but do not work as the stocks selected don't reflect a gap.  Any help wold be appreciated.

Thanks,  Lynn

There are many ways to write Gaps, one simple way is by the following PCF:

Hollow or Solid Body Gap Up, Today’s Body Gaps Up Yesterday’s Body
O > O1 AND O > C1 AND C > O1 AND C > C1
Hollow or Solid Body Gap Down, Today’s Body Gaps Down Yesterday’s Body
O < O1 AND O < C1 AND C < O1 AND C < C1
