Hi...I am new to TC2000 and wondering if there is a library of PCFs that I can download or import from this website (or anywhere else). I am specifically looking for SMA 10 moving above the 20 which is moving above the 50 and all stocks are above there 200 moving average

You guys have a great service and I would appreciate the help in this

Thanks

There is not a library of downloadable Personal Criteria Formulas available.

If the SMA10 crossing up through the SMA20 needs to be simultaneous with the SMA20 crossing up through the SMA50, then you may want to try the following:

AVGC10 > AVGC20 AND AVGC20 > AVGC50 AND C > AVGC200 AND AVGC10.1 <= AVGC20.1 AND AVGC20.1 <= AVGC50.1

If the crossovers are not simultaneous, how many Bars can pass between the crossovers?

Please try the following Personal Criteria Formula instead:

C > AVGC200 AND AVGC10 > AVGC20 AND AVGC20 > AVGC50 AND ((AVGC10.1 <= AVGC20.1 AND (AVGC20.1 <= AVGC50.1 OR AVGC20.2 <= AVGC50.2 OR AVGC20.3 <= AVGC50.3 OR AVGC20.4 <= AVGC50.4)) OR (AVGC20.1 <= AVGC50.1 AND (AVGC10.2 <= AVGC20.2 OR AVGC10.3 <= AVGC20.3 OR AVGC10.4 <= AVGC20.4)))

Hey Bruce.....have wondered for a loooooooooong time why isn't there a library for PCF's and Scans?
Sure would save a lot of time for everyone.

The basic reason is that such a library is impractical. I have over 35,000 posts distributed over many thousands of topics answering a similar number of questions and I'm not the only person giving answers. The vast majority of these questions never get asked more than once.

We have actually tried it before and it just doesn't work.

Hi Bruce...going forward you will probably have another 35,000+ requests unless some type of library is established.  I noticed you are constantly sending out references to older posts describing "How to do it scerenios" written by Craig, yourself or someone else.  Perhaps you could start the library with these basic references so you wouldn't constantly have to reference them.  Secondly, you could pick out 10-15 of the most popular topics and post common PCFs and Scans as examples.  The membership could easily add their input to the various subjects.  I've noticed Dave Landry and Martha Stokes have their favorite Scans and I'm sure others have some they might be willing to share.  I think one reason you have so many individual requests it that the subject is very esoteric and people just give up.  If you were able to provide an easily accessable framework for self-education I'm confident it would thrive.
