Hi,

Could you clarify how the A/D ratio is calculated in Stockfinder?

I was under the impression it was simply # of Advancers divided by # of Decliners, but when I add the A/D ratio to a chart I am getting negative numbers.

Cheers,

Stoker

It is except that the ratio is run through an Inverse Fraction to Negative Block which leaves any input that is at or above one alone but divides negative one by the input if it less than one to come up with a final result.

You can eliminate this step by editing the Block Diagram and running the Ratio directly into the Moving Average Block instead of running it through the Inverse Fraction to Negative Block first.
