 I want to create a custom indicator: a moving average based on the high and low. When I attempt to search the forum, I keep getting error messages. Can you send me a link that will explain this simple thing or alternatively how can one see the code of the canned indicators? With that ability, I can extrapolate my own.

 Welcome to the forums. A very good foundation for learning how to use TeleChart can be gained by reviewing the following:

If you are new to TeleChart READ THIS FIRST!

You can do so using a Custom Indicator with Plot using price scale checked. Use an Indicator formula of O for Open, H for High or L for Low, set the Smoothing Average to the Period of the Moving Average and select Simple for a Simple Moving Average or Exponential for an Exponential Moving Average.
