Hi,

Is it possible to create TICK and TRIN intraday charts for NASDAQ.

Thanks,
Chandru

It is possible to create something that will calculate using the Intraday data, but it isn't possible to create Real Time Tick or Trin in StockFinder for the NASDAQ.

For example, I've shared a method for calculating the Arms Index (TRIN) intraday for the Active Watchlist, but it is incredibly slow and resource intensive for even the Nasdaq 100 on my computer. Using the full NASDAQ or something similar would only make things worse.

You should be able to Open the attached Chart directly into a running copy of StockFinder.

Arms Index.sfChart - 70 KB, downloaded 519 time(s).

Hi Bruce,

Thanks for your reply. Do you think it would be possible for atleast the nasdaq top 30.

If yes, can I do this with the gold membership and the get the info real time.

Thanks,
Chandru

I can't think of a way at all to get you a Real Time Tick Index in the current version of StockFinder. The Trin doesn't take long to calculate for the Dow Jones Industrial Component Stocks Watchlist on my computer with the market closed (not sure which 30 Nasdaq stocks you would want to use). It would be a bit slower with the market open, but I'm not sure how much slower (it might fall back into the too slow to be practical range).
