I am attempting to reference an indicator on my chart (a volume moving average) in my RealCode. When I attempt to save the RealCode, I get the following error message:

"This code references indicators or rules on a chart. To save this code, you must save the chart instead"

I do not know what this means. Can you help?

It means that the RealCode Indicator is not saveable on its own as Indicator because it relies on external data or calculations (an Indicator must be entirely contained within the same Pane and Scale in order to be Saved as an Indicator). You need to save the entire Chart (by selecting the Save Chart icon - a floppy disk on the Chart itself) or Layout (by selecting File | Save Layout or Save Layout As... instead).
