I would like to plot  an initial stop indicator that   represents the Lowest Low of the Last 20 bars.
My trailing stop indicator would be "the Highest High of the last 20 bars minuse 3 * the Average True Range.

I can deal with the Average True Range but I think the Higest High value in the last 20 bars and the Lowest Low of the last 20 bars has to deal with System.Math.(...) which I cannot yet figure out.

I can write these as PCF's in TC2000 but not in Blocks

Can you help? Thanks

James

I have shared an example Chart (please keep in mind I am not a programmer).

Select Share | Charts.
Type jabrae29721 in the Search line and select Search.
Select the jabrae29721 Chart.
Select Open.

I can's say I understand all the blocks diagrams but certainly the blue line indicator in the top pane is the trailing stop of the highest high in the last 20 days minus the ATR.

The Max High last 20 days function I copied into the top pane and used the quickedit of change it to the Max Low last 20 days to show the initial stop line I was lookong for.  Which both stop indicators in the same pane it is easy to see which to use.

If the Max High and Max Low were available from the drop down indicator list in Blocks 3 life would be a bit simpler.  Maybe I just don't know how to find it in blocks 3.

Thanks again
James

They aren't there. I converted the Moving Average Indicator into a Maximum Indicator by adjusting the Block Diagram a bit and copying it to another Pane.

Max or Min of Line has been added to the indicator library in Blocks.
