Is there a way to have the volume bars clip in Blocks 3 as they do on TC2000? In TC2000 you can set the bars to clip at 2, or 3 times the moving average, thus letting more of the chart be readable when a spike appears on the chart. This would be a neat feature if if could be done.

Yes it is possible. I made a Chart as an example and shared it for you.
Select Share | Charts.
Type Truncated Volume Bars in the Search line and select Search.
Select the Truncated Volume Bars Chart.
Select Open.
The actual value of the Volume Bars are changed, so it should not be used as a Parent Study if you expect the Child Study to use actual Volume.

Hey Bruce, it looks great! I am a rank beginner, and don't know how to get the chart from your chart to put either on my chart, or stick in my files, or both. Can you help m e?
Thanks from Tom FErderbar

Load Bruce's chart, then click the Save button on the chart and name it. You can recall it at any time from the My Charts button on the toolbar.

Thanks much for that suggestion. My problem is how do I put the "Truncated Volume BArs" on the bottom of an existing chart which has moving averages, Linear regression lines, TSV indicators on the bottom, etc? I guess I should call the Truncated Volume Bars which Bruce developed, an indicator which goes in a separate place on the bottom of the candlestick chart. Any Ideas?
Thank you very much, from Tom Ferderbar

tomferd,
You need to copy the Study from the Chart:
Right-click on the Pane.
Select Copy Pane.
Right-click on the Chart where you wish to place the Pane.
Select Paste.
OR:
Right-click on the Plot.
Select Copy.
Right-click on the Pane where you wish to place the Plot.
Select Paste.
Unfortunately, the Study uses the Chart it is in to get its Symbol, Time Frame, Start Date and End Date. If you delete the original Chart, the Study will disappear. You will need to connect the Symbol and Time Frame inputs of the Price and Volume Blocks to a Symbol and Time Frame coming from the Chart into which you paste the Study. You will also need to connect the Start Date and End Date inputs of the Trim by dates Block to the Start Date and End Date of the Chart into which the Study is pasted.
