Some of the settings required to write Personal Criteria Formulas for these conditions are not specified by Sir Old Viking Trader in the Thursday, April 5 ,2007 Worden Report. That said, you may wish to try the following:

8-17-9 Macd crossing its moving average up:

Exponential MACD 8,17,9 Histogram xUp Zero:

XAVGC8 - XAVGC17 - XAVG(XAVGC8,9) + XAVG(XAVGC17,9) > 0 AND XAVGC8.1 - XAVGC17.1 - XAVG(XAVGC8.1,9) + XAVG(XAVGC17.1,9) <= 0

Simple MACD 8,17,9 Histogram xUp Zero:

AVGC8 - AVGC17 - AVG(XAVGC8,9) + AVG(XAVGC17,9) > 0 AND AVGC8.1 - AVGC17.1 - AVG(AVGC8.1,9) + AVG(AVGC17.1,9) <= 0

TSV18 crossing zero line up:

Simple TSV18 xUp Zero:

TSV18 > 0 AND TSV18.1 <= 0

Exponential TSV18 xUp Zero:

XAVG(TSV,18) > 0 AND XAVG(TSV1.1,18) <= 0

RSI >50:

Cannot be written without more specific settings.

12,5,3 Stochastics rising (low value portion cannot be done without specifying the definition of low):

Simple Stochastic 12,5 SK Increasing:

STOC12.5 > STOC12.5.1

Simple Stochastic 12,5,3 SD Increasing:

AVG(STOC12.5,3) > AVG(STOC12.5.1,3)

Exponential Stochastic 12.5 SK Increasing:

XAVG(STOC12,5) > XAVG(STOC12.1.1,5)

Exponential Stochastic 12,5,3 SD Increasing:

2 * XAVG(STOC12,5) - XAVG(STOC12,3) > 2 * XAVG(STOC12.1.1,5) - XAVG(STOC12.1.1,3)

You may send also an email to Sir Old Viking Trader's attention at support@worden.com to get further clarification from the author. These emails are forwarded and you should receive a response (at least from us). All e-mail communication sent to support@worden.com during business hours (Monday through Friday 9AM-11PM and Saturday and Sunday 9AM-3PM ET) should be answered within 20 minutes of arrival.

After Mr. Worden publishes an article, many times other customers have questions that can only be answered by the author of the article. We do not give out anyone’s email address or other personal information, rather, we will just forward their email on to the appropriate person.
