I am following Peter's lead and am in part 2 in the Short Sale Candidates section. He has a Scan: Bearish Money Stream/Universe [Min. Vol & Cap] which should have negative sort values. I have all positive. I have checked the criteria and can not find my error.

Can you copy the criterion here so I can review it, please?

What are you sorting this list by? Are you sorting it by the exact same condition Peter Worden sorted it by in the video? What condition is giving you positive values and it is the same sort condition Peter Worden used in the video?

Peter has a sublist:
Peter's UNIVERSE (Min. Volume & Cap) ***used as a sublist for bullish
moneystream scan***

Scan on 'All items in system' watchlist
Capitalization Value: 99 to max
Price Per Share -h Value: $2 to max ($1.94 shown in video)
Z-Volume six months Rank: 40 to 99 (*PCF average volume
over the last six months PCF not displayed) "AVGV125".
Volume (dollars) 5 day Rank: 40 to 99

and the sort:

MoneyStream 2-day PCF
MS - MS.2) / (MAX(MS,100) - MIN(MS,100)) * 100

The "-h" following Price Per Share is not clear to me also.

The condition giving me positive values is the sort.

I note the sublist is marked for the bullish moneystream scan. I do not have the information on the bearish moneystream scan. I am searching the CD received but can not find. This is probably the problem.

The sort should be:

(MS - MS.2) / (MAX(MS,100) - MIN(MS,100)) * 100

Check that you have the first parenthisis there.

Yes, typo; it's always been there. Are blank spaces necessary in the formula? It is hard for me to tell if there are blanks.

Don't worry about blanks.

Sort the ALL STOCKS WatchList by the PCF in ASCENDING order. Do you see negative values then?

No; have tried that many times. Tried again just now. All green and with plus; no negatives. Does "Peter's UNIVERSE have different bullish and bearish sets of criteria?

The moneystream is negative on these but the numbers are not.

Go to the ALL STOCKS WatchList for me. Turn off any SUBLISTS.

Sort the WatchList in ASCENDING order by

MoneyStream 2-day PCF
(MS - MS.2) / (MAX(MS,100) - MIN(MS,100)) * 100

What is the stock at the top of the list?
What value does it say under SORT VALUE?
What is teh second stock under it?
What value does it say for SORT VALUE?

Jump to TUTS for me so it is your active symbol.

Switch to the DATA SHEET from the chart (CTRL then press V)

Find MoneyStream 2-day on the list and give me the VALUE and PERCENTILE RANKING

My error found: I had "Display Market Rank" checked rather than "Display Value" in the sort criteria. Thanks for your help. All set now and if I need help further I will be in touch. I learned something new!
