In theory, yes.
I don't know what the INVERSE FISHER TRANSFORM is, though.

I would also be interested in IFT if it is possible (daily)
EXPVAL =Exponential value of a number.
Example 6=403.42 4.5=90.01
( This function works in TC when I plug the number in but, I get a syntax error when I use a variable name like "C")
I will give the "standard" values for IFT:
VALUE1 = (( RSI 5period) -50 ) * .1
( an oscillator that goes from 0 to 100 is normalized to go from +5 to -5 in this case RSI with a length of 5)
VALUE2 = a 9 period weighted moving average of VALUE1
VALUE1*9 + VALUE1.1*8+ VALUE1.2*7+ VALUE1.3*6+ AND SO ON (DIVIDED BY 45)
IFT= (EXPVAL(2*VALUE2)-1) / (EXPVAL(2*VALUE2)+1)
BUY= up thru -.5 SELL= down thru +.5

The Inverse Fisher Transform is just another name for the hyperbolic tangent function, TANH( ), which is available in TC2005. For example, the Inverse Fisher Transform of (C-C1)/C1 is:
TANH((C-C1)/C1)

A weekly version of the RSI5 is tough.
Plot this formula as a CUSTOM INDICTOR to get the daily:
TANH(RSI5.1-50)
A true "weekly" version of this plotted on a daily chart is more than a tad messy.
When you are looking at the chart it is very easy to see the weekly by hitting the 5 key on your keyboard. You can quickly switch back by hitting the 1 key.
With one key you see the daily or the weekly. Very easy to switch between them both.

NOt sure, I saw it in the tradestation magazine, I think its the the inverse fischer transform RSI. I use slow stoachastic with 12,3,3 setting if thats helpful.

The "standard" settings from the tradestation article are the ones I supplied in my post: 02/18/06.
I believe the closest approximation of this is the Tanstaafl post: 05/21/05 7:42:08
However I'm not sure if it is finished at the end he says:
"... at this point I become lazy enough to let you take it from there and do the rest of the expansion, per my original post above."
What he has posted above appears to be part of the answer.
Like you I would like to see one post with a 5 period RSI and a 9 period weighted MAV. That hits a high of +1 and a low of -1.
I realize what Tanstaafl is trying to do and I applaud his efforts.
However sometimes the knowledge is so far above mine that I cant tell if its the answer.

The following formula is too long to be practical for use as a Custom Indicator (please don't try it). While you might wish to try it as a Personal Criteria Formula (it is a Daily version loosely based on Tanstaafl's Saturday, May 21, 2005 7:42:08 PM ET post in RE: Inverse Fisher Transform, but I don't have anything to use for comparison and can't be sure if it is correct), it will slow down updating your PCFs significantly:

I have this indicator in tradestation and most values only differ by + - .01.
Due to its size. I will keep it in a word document and only use in in TC once every few weeks. (then remove it)
Its not too bad if I put a PCF in a watchlist tab. Then I can sort for stocks that are at their turning points.
Would this be a weekly version if C4 was changed to C20, C14 to C70 (and so on)?
Would there need to be any changes other then the close adjust?
