May I know how to access to previously created chart templates created with the software. I have some chart templates from F1 - F10. But when I saw you training video, it seems to have names and more templates that are missing on my program. How to I get those templates?

These are templates created by Mr. Wander (who is no longer with the company). He made the video on his demo machine and not only are his templates meaningless (created only to demo the product), the defaults that came with the software have no significance.

You want to learn about the indicators and create your own templates filled with indicators you understand or are learning about and that fit... YOU!

Here are some videos I've created to help introduce you to a few of the indicators available in the program.

Understanding Moving Averages - Part I, The Basics

Understanding Moving Averages - Part II, Using Multiple Averages

Understanding MACD

Understanding Stochastics

Here is a video Doug created to get you accustomed to ADX

Average Directional Index (ADX)

To learn about BOP, TSV and MoneyStream I HIGHLY recomend you consider the videos available here:

When you create your own chart template, is it possible to add the indicators "selling climax line" and "buying surge line" like the ones described in the "Winning QQQ Trading Simplified" Worden video?

Those indicators are not available in TeleChart.

They are only available in Worden Studio. You can download and install it here:

I need some help.

I just bought a new computer. All of my tc2000 files are on my old computer. The last cd I received from worden bros is 604-0218, "best installed by 08/30/05".

If I load that cd, will I have access to old files and will my formats remain the same?

I am asking before I try anything. My old computer died . . . .

When you say your "old computer died" does that mean you cannot open TeleChart on that old machine?

You can download TeleChart on your new computer using the link at the top right of this page (scroll up).

If you can open TeleChart on your old computer you can transfer the files via our servers. Here is a video that covers the back-up/restore to servers feature:

craig -

my old computer won't read my driver for the internet connection -
so I can't transfer the files to your servers.

however, I think I can transfer (albeit slower) with a jumpdrive.

Downloading telechart via your link, that will be great. I will check that out and I will watch the video and play around with it.

thank you and I will let you know if I need more info . . .

appreciate it. challo

The installer uses ACTIVE X. Say "yes" to the question (in this instance).

jaxricane,
Please try the following (this assumes Volume Bars are already on your chart):

Select Chart Template | Add Indicator | Moving Average | Volume Bars.
- Adjust the Moving Average settings as desired.

Note: This will be a Moving Average of the Volume Bars as plotted (including your Tools | Chart Display Options | Truncate Tops of Volume Bars setting).

Hello,
I want to make a chart comparing the McClellan oscillator in the top screen with the S&P in the bottom window, so I can go back in time to study the indicator's function.  I tried using layout to do over and under charts, but when I scroll back on one, the other one doesn't change.   I'd also like to remove the middle indicator.  What's the best way to do that?
Thanks,
Jon

jonransom,
You need to select Sync and check Past Chart if you want the Charts to scroll together. You can Drag the lines between the Chart Panes to resize them, but you cannot remove a Chart Pane in TeleChart.

View multiple symbols or multiple views of the same symbol using Layouts
