Perfect - thanks to both of you for the two different solutions.

How does one, in RealCode reference another symbol? As an example, let's say I want to plot the RSI14 of the SP-500 vs. the RSI14 of the NDX-X on the same plot. I can't find any reference to how to reference external symbols.Any help greatly appreciated!

That's close - but it's just the bargain list - anyone post on the growth list?

Apologies for any retread on this subject - but the search feature of the forum does not seem to work (searching for Kirkpatrick) - I was looking to see if anyone had written scans for the Charles Kirkpatrick Bargin and Growth selection criteria.  I'd also love Value but I'll take what I can get!

Thanks in advance for any help,

Damian

Cool - thanks for the feedback.

Very helpful - for reference, I used the following:

AVG(((C/C21*100)-100),((C/C63*100)-100),((C/C125*100)-100),((C/C250*100)-100))

Does this look right in terms of what I was trying to do?

Thanks!

Not sure if I can do this with Telechart but I thought I'd ask.

I want to create a calculated field for display in the watchlist that shows the average of 1/3/6/12 month returns. I would then want to sort based on this field.

Is this possible to do with Telechart?

Thanks in advance,

Topic: 10 Low on the SPX

Hello,

I'm trying to create a strategy that utilizes only the SPX to determine the current swing. Basically, the idea is to look for the lowest low of the SPX over a 10 day period. A 10-day low happens when the closing price of a certain day is lower than the close of the last 10 days. A 10-day high happens when the close is higher than the close of the last 10 days.

How would I create something like this in Telechart? It's not really a scan in the purest sense - but I want to use it as a swing indicator for my other trades.

Thoughts appreciated!

Best,

Damian

I'm with you on this - I currently use Stockcharts.com for this information but would love to not have two solutions. If Telecharts were to add it, I would suggest offering the ATR option as well as custom user box sizes, in addition to customized reversals.
