I am in need of help developing a PCF. The conditions for the PCF are numbered below for easier recognition.
1) This PCF will be looking back over a rolling period of 14 weeks to find stocks that have moved at least 100% within an 8 week period. This 100% move can happen during a session, closing prices are unecessary.
2) This PCF also needs to ensure that at the beginning of the move, the stocks' price is at least 4.99 or greater.
Secondly, I would like to have a pcf that gives me every stock that has had an ipo within the last ten years up until today.
I hope everything was explain sufficiently. Thank you in advance for you help.

Hi,
I would like to create a pcf to find stocks that
for long trades: MACD 2/21/5 weekly crossing above the zero line
and
for short trades, MACD 2/21/5 weekly crossing below the zero line.
Thank you for your help.

Hi Bruce,
I already have several custom scans that provide me with the highest returning stocks and lowest returning stocks over a given period of time. I am seeking to further limit these stock scans by acertaining that they are either in the highest twenty morningstar industry groups over a three day period or the lowest morningstar industry groups over a three day period. Therefore is it possible for you to give me two custom pcf's of the morningstar industry groups described above?

Hi,
How do I create a pcf that would enable me to sort for stocks in the top twenty morningstar industry groups, and an opposite one for the bottom twenty morningstar industry groups? Thank you for your help.

Thank you for your response, I do not have much experience with blocks, how would I go about acheiving the same thing in that program?

Hi
I have used telechart for technical analysis for a long time, but had some questions about getting fundimental data in it. What I would like to do is follow a watchlist of stocks, and create a watchlist layout where I have columns listing the following:
for year 2007, actual fiscal year earnings and p/e ratio.
For 2008-2010,
projected price to earnings ratio,
projected earnings
and projected p/e to growth ratio.
Is there a way to create columns listing this data?
Will I need custom PCF's?
Thank you very much for your assistance.

Hi, Quick Question,
I would like to creat pcf criterea for an easy scan where the following three conditions would be met.
1.)A stochastic cross within the last five days(default stochastic settings are fine, i can clarify exact settings if you need them)
2.)an macd histogram cross over (MACD 12,26,9)
3.) a fourteen period rsi, average period of 1, trending higher(defined as todays rsi greater than yesterdays, yesterdays greater than two days ago.
Thank you very much for you're assistance, I apologize in advance for the ambiguity related to the stochastic, I am looking to test it with a default setting, If you do not have one I can reply with one.

Hi,
Thank you so much for your reply. Due to the fact that it isn't possible to run scans on five minute bars I have reconsidered my approach. I would now like to create the following four scans.
1. Stock=Optionable
2. stock price >= 10$
3. avg. 50 day vol >= 1 million shares
The above criterea are for all scans, long and short
Variation 1:
1.price > 20 sma
2.price > 50 sma
3.20 > 50 sma
4. macd 2,21,5 > 0
5. Price trending up 3 days(price today higher than yesterday, yesterday higher than two days ago)
short variation 1:
1.price < 20 sma
2.price < 50 sma
3. 20 < 50 sma
4. macd 2,21,5 < 0
5. Price trending down 3 days(opposite of above definition of trending up)
Variation 2:
macd crossing above zero line
Short Variation 2:
macd crossing below zero line
If you can help me to create these scans I would greatly apreceate it.

Hi,
Is it possible for Telechart to scan for stocks that meet criterea defined on an intraday basis. If so, I would like to create a scan for trade candidates that finds stocks where:
20 bar simple moving average trending up
price trending up
200 bar simple moving average under 20 day simple moving average
in addition I would like to create a scan that reverses the above criterea.
20 bar simple moving average trending down
price trending down
200 bar simple moving average above 20 day simple moving average.
I would like to scan for five minute price bars.
Thank you very much for your help.

Hi, I want to create a pcf that will give me na adx reading above thirty (with a period of fourteen and an average of fourteen.) I have noticed that people have asked for adx pcf's in the past and that it is hard to find a practical way of devising one. My idea is that if a pcf could read + and - DI values, then the difference could be calculated between the two values for each of the last fourteen trading days and averaged.(I don't know if the ADX uses simple or exponential averaging, another potential problem) If the system dosn't give adx readings, hopefully a mock indicator could be created around plus and minus DI values. While I can sort by adx readings, narrowing down the lists givin to me by my easy scans would drastically help my trading. Thank you very much for your help. Best Regards, Brian Bernstein
