Topic: SORL - break from trend line
Posted: Wednesday, March 31, 2010 4:55:23 PM

LVS had a perfect rally so far.I would call it "the stock of the year 2009" starting at approximately 2.50 and reaching 21 and it still has way more to go as it seems. My guess is that it will keep ralling till 25 and then will have some downward movements.

This one is a very interesting stock for me.
I don't know how to use charts yet but you can realize that it actually broke the resistance level recently that was about 3.50 for tha past year basically and today reached a new high price of 3.91.
I do consider this one a really big deal.In fact i bought 3,000 shares today at 3,77/share.
Ler me know your opinions on this one.
Thank you
Topic: Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting 2010

I don't really know where to put this topic,so i just put it here.Administrators can move it
wherever they think it's more suitable.
Anyways,on Saturday May 1st,the 2010 Annual Berkshire Hathaway Shareholder Meeting is gonna take place in Omaha.
You can find more information in the following pdf-file: http://www.berkshirehathaway.com/meet01/2010meet.pdf

BKR.B sells for approximately $82 right now so you can try buying this one if you arent a shareholder.
On the other hand BRK.A is pretty expensive exceeding $123,000 per  share.

One more reason i consider the specific stock a bad pick is because of its P/E:14.07

....perhaps too obvious, sure everyone sees this one.

That's one reason not to buy the stock :)

I am a sprint customer myself so I know exactly what you mean.
I am also aware of the fact that they are applying huge costs for not paying your bills on time.
Those costs are increasing during time until you finally pay them.
Anyways, their overbilling every month definitely makes some potential customers not to want to get sprint but they also attract many customers because of their phones they provide such as HTC touch pro 1,2 and many many others that only sprint has.
I think that once Sprint changes its billing system and makes it a little bit more affordable to attract new customers its stock will have a long rally. The question is:When is this going to happen?and how can we learn about it if we don't have inside information?news?

Is the stock price for Sprint Nextel really undervalued?
The market value closed at $3.60.
I believe it is undervalued.Maybe it will be a good pick.
Any ideas on this stock?

Thank you

Hello John,
I would like to thank you for introducing me to the book "Trading in the Zone" by Mark Douglas.
Despite my homework and exams at school,I had time to get this book and i really enjoy reading it so far.
It provides all the mental analysis that a trader needs to develop to control his emotions. In a few words I could say that he also gives the appropriate mindset that each trader should have in order to become successful.
However it doesn't provide the reader with any technical analysis methods/charts or anything like that.
I hope you understand what i mean.If not,I will try to explain further.
What is the next book(from your experience) that i should have to get to start learning about technical analysis techniques?

Furthermore,it seems like the 100 shares i got of C-U are doing well so far.The market closed at a price
of $19.00 per share. However I would still have costs if I was trying to sell them right now for the commisions that they would charge me for exiting this trade. So what I am thinking so far is to just keep them there and act analogously in the future until there is a substantial increase in price.Let me know your opinions(if any) about C-U shares.

Thank you,
Kostas

Hey sail, there are two more orders named Trailing stop $ and Trailing stop % on the
Ameritrade site.I haven't still looked at those terms to see what they mean. But thank you for
letting me know about they way you sell.

John,TD ameritrade does have a simulated trading. However i notice some small changes.
For the action process, besides the buy or sell choice,it also has "sell short" and "buy to cover" choices.
Other than that everything else is pretty much the same.
