I would like to know how to screen for stocks that have been trading in a tight range over say .. a period of 10 days or more. Can you please tell me the easiest way to do this?
Thank you

I would use this formula:

For a 10 day range:

(MAXH10-MINL10)/AVGC10*100

Lower the values, tighter the range

For an average daily range over 10 days:

(AVGH10-AVGL10)/AVGC10*100

Lower the values, tighter the daily range

Both are normalized based on price per share.
