Why isn't there any way in Blocks to see what the calculated value of an indicator is on a chart. I can click on a bar and see the last closing value. Why can't I also see what the 200 SMA is or any other indicator plotted on that chart?

Michael, You can. Right click next to the TRADE button at the top of the chart and then click Add Item. Choose Data Display from the list. Then right again next to TRADE and choose Properties.
Drag fromt the Data to Display Plotter and choose Last Value In Series block. Then connect that block to whatever indicator value you want to see. You'll have a value display next to your TRADE button.
Add as many of these as you like.

ProfitaBull, drag the indicator over to your watclist and it will create a column for every symbol showing you the last value for that indicator.

Another option I like.
Open the Block Diagram for your indicator. Between the last Block in the Diagram and the Numeric Plotter, connect a LAST VALUE IN SERIES Block. Then connect this to a Legend Display Block.
You will now see the most recent value of the indicator in the indicator's legend.

Here is an example of what I mean using the MACD histogram plot. Check out the Block Diagram to see how I did it.
Save it in the following folder: \My Documents\Blocks Files\Tool Parts\Chart Once there, you can add it using the ADD STUDY button and choosing MY COMPUTER.
Attachments: MACD Histogram of Price with Legend Display.pane - 9 KB, downloaded 427 time(s).

This is a really good suggestion. Very creative!

Yes, quite clever
Can that legend display be tied to a date pointer?

progster, Yes. Replace the Last Value in Series Block with a Value for Date Block and connect it to a Date Pointer.
