I download the chart and tried the conditions

Didn't seem to work as all of them  returned the "50 bars since true" and would't paint or show true markers.

Additionally when I tried to look at them thru edit - there was nothing there and when I backed out the condition name disappeared.

Downloaded it twice and it was the same thing.  Deleted the charts both times but the conditions remained.

???

I cannot reproduce this at all. All of the Conditions seem to work just fine when I Drag and Drop them to the WatchList to use as WatchList Conditions in SF5 (and the Share isn't available in SF4).

Bruce,
Do you get these charts and layouts the same way users do- i.e.going thru the SF5 share process?

I'll try again but there was no code or blocks  behind the the conditions that I downloaded.

I just downloaded the "Combing RSI with RSI" chart I shared to the library and the conditions on the chart are all working.

BobMc,
Yes, I got it exactly the same way. I just downloaded it as a Shared item.

I've downloaded as well a couple of time but I don't get the red and green arrows when I sort.

I'm sure I'm making a rookie blunder.... how do I get the arrow? I've tried to edit conditions etc... but to no avail.

Thanks

I still cannot reproduce this. The arrows appear on the Chart. When I Drag and Drop the Conditions to the WatchList, I am able to use it as a Sort or Condition Column without any issues. The Scanning with Conditions video covers the techique in more detail and may help you figure out if you are doing something incorrectly.

Hi Bruce,

Still having an issue but I beleive it my Stockfinder. I've watched the conditioins video and right off the bat the gal mentions left clicking to avtivate or start the condition sort in the watchlist. If I left click I get a box that says edit combination condiction.

Inside th ebox it says to drag conditions here to add.... when I do that my program just quits.

I'll look for more video's, I imagine it's still my fault. I can get the chart, I can drag the conditions to my watch list and sort or add as columns but after the sort I still do not get any arrows. I am testing this with the Russel 2000 list with some filters applied suck as optionable and price over $25 and volume greater than x.

I'll keep looking for a solution.

Thanks
Kirk

Still not working.
I have them added to my watchlist as condistion columns. I just am not getting the red and green arrows.
Is there something in the condition I need to edit?

I can left click to start the sort..

You could right-click on the Buy in Uptrend and Sell in Downtrend Conditions on the Chart and make sure Show True Markers is checked.

I already messed with that but it's already active.

Does it have anything to do with "bars since true"? I'm on 50 bars. Daily or Weekly timeframe?

Sorry to bug you so much on this one....

The Bars Since True in the WatchList Condition Column is just letting you know that it has been at least 50-Bars since the Condition returned True. It should have nothing to do with if the arrows appear on the Chart.

Watching the video again etc... but when I make changes my SF has an error.

Maybe I'll try to re-load SF5 today.... it seems very glitchy. I'm on a 32 bit PC with max RAM.

How does this software work with 64 bit? Maybe it's time to upgrade. I assume both SF5 and TC can run on a 64bit machine?

Thanks

Won't bother you any more on this one, I'll figure it out.
