Can I have multiple charts with different symbols?

Yes. You can Lock the symbol for any Chart after changing symbols by left-clicking on the Lock Symbol Icon on that Chart (it looks like a padlock). This will allow you to change the symbol on other Charts without affecting the Symbol on the Locked Chart.

that helps but now can I get more then one symbol using the same chart or do I have to make like 4 copies of one chart on different tabs.

You can have more than one symbol in the same Chart by using the Price for Symbol Indicator.

I am sorry but I do not see what you are referring to. Also is there a way to write rules based on trend lines?

Click the Add Indicator button.  There's an indicator called "Price for Symbol".

I do not know of a way to create Rules based on any of the Drawing Tools, including Trend Lines.
