Hi Bruce, have you ever built a scan to identify this pattern?

Bruce, please excuse such a basic question. I want to scan for stocks up 2% from the prior close with a 50% increase above average 10 day volume. What would the syntax be and would that be a Condition or an Indicator. Thanks.

Sorry to be unclear. I mean that sometime over the past ten days, the issue had at least 1 day when the close was +4% from the prior close.

Hi Bruce,

How would I scan for stocks which have had a 4% up move within the last 10 days?

TIA.

Hi Bruce,

Reading Mark Boucher's trading course from way back when, he cites a scan he used:

In the Top RS list, I have isolated stocks that meet 3 technical and fundamental criteria. They are:

• Technical: Ranked in the top 15%-20% of Relative Strength.
• Technical: Making new highs.
• Fundamental: Ranked in the top 15%-20% of Earnings.

Can this be duplicated in TC2000?

Cheers,
John

You are correct, kind sir. The -V looks useless, the *V looks right.

Thanks again!

Hi Bruce,

You were a great help last week with VOLAC, now I'm hoping you can help me with Larry Williams' OBV. I dd check the archive but could find no reference to it

It's another cumulative indicator which takes each day's ((close - yesterday's close)/(high-low) - volume and adds it to a cumulative total.
