How can I write a custom PCF to add  to a scan for October 10,2018, I have various scans and want see

how they would have acted on that date.?

You can replace the bars ago paremeter for indicators (but not one ofd the arguments in a function) with a date using the 'mm/dd/yy' format.

For example:

H

Would become:

H'10/10/18'

And:

MAXH10

Would become:

MAXH10.'10/10/18'

Can't I add it to a scan to see what candidates would have been generated?

Most of the conditions in new versions of TC2000 have a True setting which can be changed x bars ago, but the only way to set a specific date for a condition is if it is a formula.

Can I add the above date as a condition in a scan and only get reults for said date?

You would have to adjust all of the bars ago parameters in all of the conditions in the scan (assuming they are all formulas).
