how far back in time can I get daily stock and index data Rate this Topic:

When I began to use TC2000 years ago, I could "see" back many decades.

With V17 I tried to look back to, say, the late 90s into the dot com crash, using daily bars, but I couldn't find a way to get that old data.

Pls advise what ver 17 limits are in this regard.

All of the time frames in TC2000 v17 start each trading day with the most recent 500 bars of data available. More bars are added throughout the trading day if applicable. This is about two years of daily data.

You would need to use Monthly chart to go back to dot com crash. Or use TC2000 V7.
