 A rise in net income.

- A rise in operating cash flow.

- A rise in return on assets.

- A rise in working capital.

- A rise in gross margin.

- Operating cash flow that is greater than the company's net income.

- Its ratio of long-term debt to assets has fallen.

- Its growth rate of sales exceeds that of asset acquisition.

- The company has not diluted the value of its stock by issuing more new

hares to the public than it bought back

There really isn't a way to create the Piotroski F-Score.

You can't ever really convert the concept into an EasyScan because there is no way to count the number of items meeting the requirements. Instead you would need to check for specific combinations of requirements being true.

Building a Scan with Multiple Conditions (7:29)

The checks for a particular fundamental being greater than 0 are fairly simple. Add the fundamental indicator to the chart.

Plot historical fundamentals from Morningstar (7:00)

Click on it and select Create Scan Condition. You will want the value to be greater than 0.

Create Conditions from Your Chart (5:25)

Checking for the value being greater than a year ago is a similar. You will just want to create a Moving Up Net condition with the Period set to about a year (252 in daily, 52 in weekly or 12 in monthly). You will set the Net Change > to 0.
