I was poking around in TC2000 to see what I could see, and I created a new window, clicked on News,  My Notes, then Feeds, and Third Party Feeds.  I typed different things in the search box to see what would show up, but nothing ever did.

How does the 3rd party feeds work? Is it possible for it to look in a folder on my computer to get information to display in the window?

A third party feed is something provided by another company to share information in TC2000. You would need some sort of relationship with the other company to know about it and get the name of the feed and password.

There used to be feeds provided by some of the individual trainers with access given out when attending one of the live training sessions, but passwords are no longer handed out and these feeds are no longer updated.

Where can I learn more about feeds, and what's involved in setting one up?

Is the third party feed all external to TC2000?

It isn't something you can just set up as a normal user. It is something that would be set up by company running their own paid classes about investing for example. As their customer, you would get a password so you could sign up for their third party feed.

Currently these are all external. As mentioned in the previous response, there used to be feeds associated with the free live training classes, but this is no longer the case.

One more question for today!  Is that an RSS feed?  I'm a member on an automotve forum that has RSS feeds.

No, it is not an RSS feed and cannot be read by an external feed reader. The third party feed can contain all sorts of things such as charts, WatchLists, EasyScans, layouts, and videos.
