Do these pcfs mean the same thing?

100 * (C1 - C2) / C2 <= 2

.98 * C2 <= C1 AND C1 <= 1.02 * C2

No, but they would mean the same thing if the first fomulas had an ABS in it.

100 * ABS(C1 - C2) / C2 <= 2

Or the slightly shorter:

ABS(C1 / C2 - 1) <= .02

Thanks Bruce.  So does 100 * (C1 - C2) / C2 <= 2 mean that yesterday the stock was up less than or equal to 2% vs the previous day but there is no limit on how much it could have been down vs the previous day?
