why isn't this working even though it is testing true or false

 
 XavgC3-XAvgC8/XAvgC8 >XAvgC3 and  XavgC3.1-XAvgC8.1/XAvgC8.1 <XAvgC3.1

and wot is difference between a period in formula and a comma?
