Hello Bruce,
as always - ThanX for the fast and comprehensive feedback;
although I wished for a different answer ;-)
Regards Leonh.

Hello Bruce,
I have several formulas whih all use the closing price of a specific day ( i.e. the closing price of February 12th = C'2/12/19' ). Challenge is, that this date has to be adopted every day and as it appears in many scans I have to manually change it each day; and I have to be carefull to not forget a single formula.
Question: Is there a way that I could have one definition somewhere like - DATE = C'2/12/19' ?
This way I would only have to change one single definition each day and all formulas/scans which use DATE would automatically use the correct value.
Best regards & a great weekend to you
Leonh.

OK - I was afraid that you would say this ;-)
But would that not be a simple thing to implement in one of the next versions? You could i.e. say "If user scrolls mouse wheel" AND "Key Y on keyboard is pressed" -> then ....

Hello Bruce,
lets assume I have 12 small windows open in one view - each showing a different stock. If I point my mouse to one of these windows and scroll with the mouse wheel I can increase or decrease the view in the window the mouse is over (as it is supposed to be).
Is there a way, that I could scroll in one window and all other 11 windows follow instantly? This way I would have the same sizing & view in each of my 12 windows.
Regards Leon.
PS: Stupid question maybe. but I could not find a solution

Hello Bruce,
as you said - it is counterintuitive BUT it works ;-)
Could you also say WHY ? I mean I am scanning for todays 3min.-bars and compare them explicit with yesterdays date BUT to get correct results I have to enter todays date. I do not mind as I do not have other formulas using the date formula C'MM/DD/YY' - but strange it is.

Hello Bruce,
unfortunately it does not produce proper results. I assume I have chose some parameters of the condition wrong. Would love to enter a picture here, but somehow can't upload any graphics. So I will describe what I did:
-
Calculation I entered in Condition: ( C1 < C'2/12/19' )
-
Formula Value: Is true
-
True: Now
-
TimeFrame: 3 Minute
At time of writing this message this brings back 1131 results. Many correct but i.e. it brings back GILD or CEP which did not trade in negative territory the whole day.
ThanX for all help in advance !
Best regards - Leon.

Hello,
I am looking for a way to compare intraday if the 'last 3-minute-bar' closed below the 'closing price of yesterday'. But so far I am failing. One reason for this seems the fact, that mixing time-frames in setting up scans is not possible. But I assume this must be programmable, especially if this indicator still works: Closing price on specific day - C'MM/DD/YY'
Could you help me on this issue?
Regards from Germany
