It's online gambling with the house having an edge of about 55%. With short time frames no one can know the direction of movement unless you are a floor trader or someone with special knowledge. Very addicting and dangerous!

Topic: Dots and Lines

Dots have become usefull recently as the squeeze and dots on moving averages but I would like to see some selections for dot sizes perhaps three or four more sizes. Sometimes I would like a little larger dot and sometimes a little smaller. It would be nice to mix dot sizes on a chart. Ex ..larger red dots and smaller green ones or something like that.

In addition I would like to see lots of line thickness selections. I often would like a little thicker line for "0" or th e center line but the next thicker line brings a truck through my indicator.

This does not give a syntax error.  XAVG(TSV,12)-AVG(TSV,6)    ....but does it give what you want plotted as a histogram?

Under add column to a watchlist under basic columns I have an entry "Today's Volume Buzz" which may be what you want. I notice with this though a large negative volume at open and move down followed by a return to positive prices will show a green volum buzz even though most of the volume was down. Shorter time periods should weed this ouit . I was looking back afew hours when I saw this.

Will this work for you?  MaxH15.35     which is the max high over 15 days 35 days ago or any numbers you might want to substitute.

This might work for Bollinger 20,2 as a percent.

If you accept the definition of a gap as two sequential trading sessions where the price moves up or down and leaves an area of price where no trading takes place then you might want to add also L > H1 for a gap up and the reverse for gap down.

Thank you.

I never cease to amaze myself with the number of things I overlook.

I would certainly like two see two additional conditions added to the list of factors affecting scans.

1. The indicator is at a maximum.

2. The indicator is at a minimum.

This would be very usefull for a number of indicators.
