Hi,

is there a way in TC2000 v18, to hide data after a custom date?

The idea is; i would like to train on lets say last year data, mark up the chart, and then add a day at a time, to see how it worked out,

in an attempt to make myself more clear: i would like to select a range of data lets say everything before 05/02/2018. hide everything after that date, zoom in / out the chart so i could see long/short term trends, without revealing what happened after the above date, so not to bias my prediction. once i make my prediction, i would like to be able to add a day at a time to be able to see the movement of the stock.

does TC2k allow for such sort of work?

Joe

There isn't a way to just input a date range and have it do what you want. You can however scroll and zoom the chart. And there are hotkeys related to this functionality which might be useful.

Move chart backward/forward 1 bar [ and ]
Move chart backward/forward 5 bars Shift-[ and Shift-]
Slash chart \ (the backslash key will cut off the chart at the pointer)
Toggle date pointer Period ( . ) key. Toggles between Off, on and on with data values box
