I have a paper account in TC2000 V18 and sometimes I get a message "Order Rejected; $XXX is not available to short" when I put a sell(sort) order. Why a stock is restricted to short and is there an indicator in TC2000 to show me that the stock is restricted for short order?

You can add a column to your watchlist called Short Available that will show if the stock has shares available for shorting.

For what symbol. I'm seeing short available on numerous symbols.
Some stocks do not have shares available for shorting.

Was the extire watchlist. 93 symbols in custom watchlist of active symbols, S&P 500 and Nasdaq.
