In the Practice Trading account of TC can I input the artifitial price that the stock would have been purchased at?
I am trying to test a strategy and I usually do this in excel where at the end of every day or on the weekeneds I update the excel with the new names that geenrated a buy signal and the price that they generated a buy signal and sell/close the open positions if any hit stops.
So I input the price manually.
I don't have the time during trading hours to trade this practice account an I need to do it on my free time. Therefore can I input the purchase price or it will buy the stock at the current price.
Let's say on Monday stock ABC generated a buy at 35 and closed that day at 40. Later in the afteroon after the close I update my excel with that name and artifitial purchase price of 35 not 40. Can I do that with teh practice acct

No, the paper trading account will only use simulated trading where TC2000 actually implements the trade. It doesn't allow you to enter your own trades manually or change the price of the trade.
