Hi, I want to create a personal watchlist from stocks I have in an excel file rather than typing each stock in seperately. Is it possible to import stocks from excel into a personal watchlist

Yes. http://help.tc2000.com/m/69401/l/337366-how-to-create-a-new-watchlist-from-a-saved-file

TC2000 accepts text (.csv and .txt), Excel and Word files. Symbol tickers only. No other data items will be imported.

StockGuy thanks for the quick reply. I was doing exactly as it says in the help section before I posted the question but it doesnt work. I am getting the message - No Symbols were found in this file. Symbols should be seperated by commas, spaces, tabs or on seperate lines. I have got 100 tickers in excel, 1 ticker on each row in column A. Is this okay?

Yes, that should work.  Send your file to support@tc2000.com and they can test it for you and try to figure out why it's not importing.

I found a way around the problem. I can just open the excel file and paste them. Thanks.

I am happy to read you were able to resolve the issue on your own.
