How do I write a PCF that says todays DR is > the Max Daily Range in the last 22 days 

ATR1 > Max(ATR1 last 22 days)

Well if you are just interested in the range (which seems to what is in the language of the request).

H - L > MAX(H1 - L1, 22)

But if you are interested in the true range (which seems to be what is in your example).

ATR1 > MAX(ATR1.1, 22)

I want to say that today's True Range is the largest TR in the last 22 days

Then you probably want to change the period to 21 instead of 22.

ATR1 > MAX(ATR1.1, 21)
