I would like to create a histogram using the ROC of the TSV. I see that function is not possible on V12 and have read that the custom PCF would be TSV18-TSV18.7 for the periods I am looking at. How might I phrase this in a PCF using a histogram centered on the zero line so that positive and negative values would show? TIA.

You can change the data source of an indicator in TC2000 v12.5.

How to change the data source for an Indicator

You will probably want to change the Plot Style to Histogram at the time you are changing the data source and the period of the ROC indicator.

Thanks Bruce, got it all worked out.

Another question for you. I have created 2 6 Period MLR PCF's to track divergence between two variables. At the present time, to evaluate the divergence, I just have to eyeball it and make a judgment. I would like to quantify this divergence in some way and thought that a 6 period MLR of the difference between the 2 variables may make things easier. I originally tried going off the numeric value of the divergence but given variations of the magnitude from one stock to the next, it was difficult to rank them based on the difference alone.

So my question is, how would I write a PCF for a 6 period MLR of the differences between these two PCF's?

MLR6 for ROC7 of TSV18

3 * ((((TSV18-TSV18.7)*6) + ((TSV18.1-TSV18.8)*5) + ((TSV18.2-TSV18.9)*4) + ((TSV18.3-TSV18.10)*3) + ((TSV18.4-TSV18.11)*2) + (TSV18.5-TSV18.12)) / 21)  -  ( 2 * ( TSV18 + TSV18.1 + TSV18.2 + TSV18.3 + TSV18.4 + TSV18.5 - TSV18.7 - TSV18.8 - TSV18.9 - TSV18.10 - TSV18.11 - TSV18.12 )/6 )

MLR6 for TSV18   - General version

3 * (((TSV18 * 6) + (TSV18.1 * 5) + ( TSV18.2 * 4) + (TSV18.3 * 3) + (TSV18.4*2) + TSV18.5) / 21)  -  ( 2 * ( TSV18 + TSV18.1 + TSV18.2 + TSV18.3 + TSV18.4 + TSV18.5 )/6 )

Maybe something like the following?

100 * ((3 * ((((TSV18 - TSV18.7) * 6) + ((TSV18.1 - TSV18.8) * 5) + ((TSV18.2 - TSV18.9) * 4) + ((TSV18.3 - TSV18.10) * 3) + ((TSV18.4 - TSV18.11) * 2) + (TSV18.5 - TSV18.12)) / 21) - (2 * (TSV18 + TSV18.1 + TSV18.2 + TSV18.3 + TSV18.4 + TSV18.5 - TSV18.7 - TSV18.8 - TSV18.9 - TSV18.10 - TSV18.11 - TSV18.12) / 6)) - (3 * (((TSV18 * 6) + (TSV18.1 * 5) + (TSV18.2 * 4) + (TSV18.3 * 3) + (TSV18.4 * 2) + TSV18.5) / 21) - (2 * (TSV18 + TSV18.1 + TSV18.2 + TSV18.3 + TSV18.4 + TSV18.5) / 6))) / (AVGV30 ^ .75)
