I am trying to use this as formula as  a crossover to > XAvgC3    from <XAvgC3 it showing  true and false on test  but not on chart. Please advise!

 XAvgC1-XAvgC8/XAvgC8 >XAvgC3 and XAvgC1.1-XAvgC8.1/XAvgC8.1 <XAvgC3

Do I have to change XAvgC3>Avg(XAvgC3.3) to fit version 17 or can formula remain same?

Asimple crossover PCF for what your text says you want is:

C>XAvgC3 and C1<XAvgC3.1

which says the CLose today is greater than XAvgC3 today, but was less than XAvgC3 yesterday

TY for your response but  Do I have to change XAvgC3>Avg(XAvgC3.3) to fit version 17 or can formula remain same?

Is the XAvgC3> then it's own XAvgC3 not greater than yesterday's XAvgC3

Things should be backwards compatible in that formulas from TC2000 v12 and TC2000 v16 should work in TC2000 v17 unless there was some error in the formulas which was getting by the syntax checks in the earlier versions.

So XAVGC3 > AVG(XAVGC3, 3) can remain the same (at least I'm assuming that is a comma in the function and not a period. If it is a period, then the AVG() function is missing its second argument and the XAVGC3.3 is just XAVGC3 from 3 bars ago.

The reverse is not true. Formulas using the new syntax for TC2000 v17 will not work in earlier versions of TC2000.

As far as this formula goes, I frankly have no idea what it is supposed to be doing. I'm guessing it is supposed to be a crossover formula of some sort, but don't know what moving averages are supposed to be involved or the direction of the cross.

XAvgC1-XAvgC8/XAvgC8 >XAvgC3 and XAvgC1.1-XAvgC8.1/XAvgC8.1
