Bruce,
I've been using larger timeframe signals on smaller charts. The signal however is calculated at barclose of the larger timeframe. Being that the signal of the largr timeframe when placed in the watchlist, the signal is instant. why can't we get the same on smaller charts.

Two timeframes (5min, 1hr) if i create a condition on a 5min chart using 1hr indicator, the condition will only signal on barclose of the 1hr timeframe.
however if placed a 1hr condition in my watchlist the signal is calculated in real time.
Why can't I get a real time 1hr signal on a 5min chart?

I assume it's because the time frames are mixed on the chart. The 5-minute chart is ahead of the most recent hourly value until the top of the hour.
