I've searched on this question in the forum and it doesn't look good but I'll ask again anyway:
Is there any way to extract the info contained in the watchlists? All I can seem to do is pull the list of stock symbols only. I really need that data and my tracking dates. Seems like a basic function but without it I'm loosing valuable info for off line analysis.
thanks,
-cp

No, there isn't a way to export the data for an entire WatchList at a time from TC2000 v12/v16.
You can export the data for a single symbol at a time from the chart, but this would not include things like tracking dates.
You can export data for an entire WatchList at a time from version 7, but the data would be limited to the selectable export fields (which also would not include tracking dates).
Exporting data to text format - comma, space or tab delimited

Seems like it, but I'm guessing there may be licensing issues involved. If you were a data provider and one of your customers was allowing their data to be exported somewhere else without getting their cut, well...
I only use TC2000 & StockCharts, so I'm not sure how other services handle it. I might be totally wrong (hey, it actually happened once back in 1968. LOL!) but that's just a guess.

Hi, when exporting watchlist (all stock in one watchlist), is it only limed to exporting volume, open, close, high, low, and maybe two other fields?
Thanks for your help.

Yes, the export of an entire WatchList in TC2000 v7 is limited to just the fields listed in the Data Export window (Open, High, Low, Close, Volume, Symbol, Company Name, Net, Industry Group, Exchange, and Date).
