Hi, is there any way to create a Scan Condition comparing Price bar "color" to its corresponding Volume bar "color" ?
Or. is it possible to just set a scan condition for each bar color independent of each other ?
Thanks

C>C1ANDV>V1
Would be for an "up" close vs. yesterdays close.
C>OANDV>V1
Would be for up close vs. the open.
Thanks

Thanks Diceman,
Can I assume C1 & V1 = Red/Negative bars? If so would C2, V2 be the flip?
Really looking for:
If C is Neg/Red and V is Neg/Red Then Condition short met.
If C is Pos/Green and V is Pos/Green Then Condition long met.
Ultimate objecive is to apply this to Heiken Ashi candles.
Thanks again!

HA bars are a bit more complex (I leave those for Bruce)
The bars I was using:
C=close
C1=yesterdays close
V=equal todays volume
V1= yesterdays volume.
Thanks

If you have Color Based On set to Net Change then red HA candles would as follows.
O + H + L + C <= O1 + H1 + L1 + C1
And green would be as follows.
O + H + L + C > O1 + H1 + L1 + C1
If you have Color Based On set to Open vs Close then red HA candles would be as follows.
O + H + L + C <= XAVGO3.1 + XAVGH3.1 + XAVGL3.1 + XAVGC3.1
And green would be as follows.
O + H + L + C > XAVGO3.1 + XAVGH3.1 + XAVGL3.1 + XAVGC3.1
Volume will be red when: C <= C1
And green when: C > C1
