I am wanting to use the Monthly MACD histogram and create a PCF that signals when 1. after the histogram crosses below zero or is currently below zero, 2. it will signal when the net change from the current histogram is greater than the previous histogram bar (i.e., showing improvement).

The following Condition Formula would be for an exponentional MACD histogram 12,26,9 being below zero but moving up.

Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) and Histogram

XAVGC12 - XAVGC26 < XAVG(XAVGC12,9) - XAVG(XAVGC26,9) AND XAVGC12 - XAVGC26 - XAVG(XAVGC12,9) + XAVG(XAVGC26,9) > XAVGC12.1 - XAVGC26.1 - XAVG(XAVGC12.1,9) + XAVG(XAVGC26.1,9)

You would need to set the time frame of the Condition Formula to monthly when you create it.
