The Ergohuman Plus with Notebook Stand isn't nearly as nice, but it is only about 20% of the cost if you can find a retailer (I haven't found one in the United States). The biggest disadvantage would be that I don't think the arm would be strong enough for a second monitor.

Checked out the Ergohuman Plus online - sweet! Personally, I'm in the Chicago burbs so it's just a dream.

Found a little more about the Altwork on Wired's site and Engadget.  I think for all you do for us in the forums, Worden can spare a few bucks :)

It would be cheaper to attach a monitor to a Barcalounger. :)

Thanks

How do you stay awake in a chair like that? would need a hookup for a cafeine infusion system.

Stand if you like. I walk over 10,000 steps a day. I run. I work out with kettlebells. When I trade, I sit on my ass and make money. ;)

Who is this Jesse Livermore guy?
Didn't he pitch for the Chicago Cubs in the 50's?
What does he know about trading?? ;)

There's nothing healthful about making a sedentary lifestyle more sedentary.

Deskbound workers do much better by effecting some level of hormonal entrainment, and the first way to do this is to recruit muscle more actively throughout the day. The first way to do THAT is to stand at a mininum.

I'm not sure what "entrainment" means, but I get in more physical activity before the opening bell than most folks get all day.

And while I'm an intraday trader, I don't sit and stair at my screens all day. A focused watchlist and scans & alerts (gotta love technology) afford me plenty of time to stand and walk around. And when I have a good morning and the weather cooperates, I go golfing in the afternoon (sans golf cart, of course).

Blood work and all other physical markers are just fine. I monitor them as closely as I monitor my portfolio.

:)
