Hi Bruce.

I would like to get pcf of 20 & 50 periods Money Flow Oscillator indicator mentioned on October 2015 S &C magazine.

Calculating the MFO

1. Multiplier=[( High - Previous low) - ( Previous high - low)] / [( High - previous low) + ( previous high - low)]

2. Money Flow Volume = Multiplier x Volume for the period.

3. 20 period MFO = 20 period sum of money flow volume / 20 period sum of volume.

If I understand it correctly (which is not guaranteed), an Indicator Formula for a 20 period money flow oscillator as outlined in Vitali Apirine’s article in the October 2015 issue of STOCKS & COMMODITIES, “The Money Flow Oscillator” can be written as follows.

Bruce I dont think Money Flow Index and Money Flow Oscillator are the same

 

I am looking for the Formula that would Equal the TC2000 indicator "Money Flow Index" when set to a 3 Period
