sometimes two or more scans produce mutual inclusive symbols which make scaning tideous and time consuming. would there be a way to cross two or more scans so that you don't go through a symbol mulitple times?. ThinkorSwim platform has this nice feature whichI hope TC2000 has a way around it as well.
thanks

If you can save each scan as a PCF in the library, then it should be easy. Just create a new scan, add multiple PCFs as conditions (Edit Tab of scan, Add Condition) and then run by clicking on the Scan tab again. The results will include only those that meet both conditions (mutually inclusive of both PCFs).
Somebody else (Bruce) may know a better or at least alternative way, but this method works every day for me.

About the only way to get all of the results of multiple scans without any duplicates would be to OR the results of the scans. This can currently only be done in TC2000 if all of the items which need to be ORed can be placed in a single Condition Formula.

thanks esc952 & Bruce for responding.
now, is there a way to do the reverse ( sort of ) for example:
scan A and scan B have some symbols in common. would there be a way to make scan B exclude those symbols shared by scan A?
also, can a scan be save as a dynamic list?

There is no way to make scan B exclude symbols returned by scan A besides creating reversed or NOT versions of all of the requirements of scan A in scan B.
If everything in scan A can be represented as a single Personal Criteria Formula, the easy way would be to put that PCF inside of a NOT() function and then use that NOT() function as an EasyScan Condition in scan B.
An EasyScan is a dynamic WatchList already. The contents of the EasyScan change based on changes in the symbols. An EasyScan lists symbols in the List to Scan of the EasyScan which currently meet all of the requirements of its EasyScan Conditions.

what I meant by " saving a scan as a dynamic list " is to give it a name as a watch list and then use that name in " List to scan : " this way you are not dealing directly with the conditions of a scan but rather with the result of it.

You can't scan another scan, but you could copy the symbols that pass your scan to a personal watchlist and use that in another scan.
