Hi Bruce,

When you have a minute, I could use your mad PCF skills.
Can you please provide the following 6 boolean PCFs ...

ConditionA true if close > open
and close 1 bar ago < open 1 bar ago
and close > open 1 bar ago
and open < true if close 1 bar ago

ConditionB true if open 3 bars ago > open 2 bars ago
and open 2 bars ago > open 1 bar ago
and close 3 bars ago > close 2 bars ago
and close 2 bars ago > close 1 bar ago

ConditionC true if close < open
and close 1 bar ago > open 1 bar ago
and close < open 1 bar ago
and open > close 1 bar ago

ConditionD true if open 3 bars ago < open 2 bars ago
and open 2 bars ago < open 1 bar ago
and close 3 bars ago < close 2 bars ago
and close 2 bars ago < close 1 bar ago

ConditionE true if ConditionA true and ConditionB true

ConditionF true if ConditionC true and ConditionD true

Thanks!

ConditionA (one of the requirements appears to be redundant:

C > O1 AND O1 > C1 AND C1 > O

ConditionB:

O3 > O2 AND O2 > O1 AND C3 > C2 AND C2 > C1

ConditionC (this also appears to have  a a redundant  requirement):

O > C1 AND C1 > O1 AND O1 > C

ConditionD:

O1 > O2 AND O2 > O3 AND C1 > C2 AND C2 > C3

ConditionE:

O3 > O2 AND O2 > O1 AND C > O1 AND O1 > C1 AND C3 > C2 AND C2 > C1 AND C1 > O

ConditionF:

O > C1 AND C1 > O1 AND O1 > C AND O1 > O2 AND O2 > O3 AND C1 > C2 AND C2 > C3

Hi Bruce,

I see a typo (my bad) in my ConditionA - the seceond "true if" doesn't belong; it was a copy & paste error. It should've read ...

ConditionA true if close > open
and close 1 bar ago < open 1 bar ago
and close > open 1 bar ago
and open < if close 1 bar ago

But I don't see the redundancies in either ConditionA or ConditionC. What am I missing?

You don't need C > O in ConditionA or O > C in ConditionC because both must be true if the other requirements are true.

Bruce,

One more colorized-hybrid-bar request for today. Dusted off an old setup that I used in the past with some success, back when I went by the nom de plume Putt4Dough.

Can you do what you do to the Conditions A through F listed above? Use whatever color crayons you have lying around ... I can always change the colors later.

Thanks again!

I have sent you a TCMail with a chart containing my interpretation of the Putt4Dough Range indicator.

Originally I colored this red, orange, yellow, green, blue, magenta from left to right (which made for a much prettier line of letters than the colors I actually chose). Bonus points if you get why I changed it to red, blue, yellow, cyan, magenta, green instead.

Thanks, Bruce!

Just sat down. Will check TCMail after lunch. Can't wait to see what you came up with!

Stay tuned.

Lol. I keep seeing threads with familiar names at the top of the list ... looks like lots of my old ideas are still popular. :)
