Thanks for the formulas. I need to apply them to my ideas. How do I get say 20ma huggers or 200ma huggers or serious declines, inclines, gappers, etc. In other words how to see ans apply to these ideas?

You can search the forums for topics where other customers may have answered similar questions.

If you can't find an answer to something similar, you need to provide an unambiguous objective definition (in other words, your definition can't be an "I'll know it when I see it" type definition) of what you want in order for us to be able to help you create something because the trainers can't give setting, interpretation or investment advice.

I have no idea what you might mean by huggers or serious declines as your use of the term could differ significantly from my own (assuming it is a term I might use). Even seemingly concrete terms like gappers and up days have different definitions for different traders. For example, some traders base a Gap on the previous Close to the current Open:

Gap Up:

O > C1

Gap Down:

O < C1

Some traders use the previous High or Low to the current Open:

Gap Up:

O > H1

Gap Down:

C < L1

While most traders use the previous High or Low to the current High or Low:

Gap Up:

L > H1

Gap Down:

H < L1

The situation is similar for Up and Down Days. Most traders base their definitions of an Up or Down Day on the Net Change (previous Close to current Close):

Up Day:

C > C1

Down Day:

C < C1

While other traders (especially candlestick devotees) compare the current Open to the current Close instead:

Up Day:

C > O

Down Day:

C < O

So the answer to your question about how to apply Personal Criteria Formulas to your ideas is that you need to clearly and unambiguously define and convey your ideas first. Only then is it possible to convert them into PCFs (either by you or us). You may wish to review the following:
