I'm new to the TC2005. I'm trying to do an EasyScan for the boolean Bullish Engulfing pattern; however, the count, in the Editing conditions for: New EasyScan, column is always 0(zero) for my new PCF Bullish Engulfing.

Below are briefly the steps that I do.
-Create the PCF:
New->New Personal Creteria Formula-> name it Bullish Engulfing, paste in
ABS(C1-O1)>(H1-L1)*0.50 AND C1<O1 AND C>O1 AND O<C1
->Save it
After updating the just created PCF,
New->New EasyScan->Watchlist: All Stocks, count column is at 6807,
->Add New Condition->Price Per Share, set its value from 20-100, count column is at 2890,
->Add New Condition: Price Percent Change 5-day, set its value <0 to min, count column is at 2104,
->Add New Condition->Bullish Engulfing: count colunm is 0(zero)

Please advise what other procedures I need to take in oder to make these candle booleans to work. Greatly appreciate your help!

I put your scan (just candle) in and out of the original 6807 stocks
there were 87 that meet your candle criteria.

My guess is your price per share filter and price percent
change eliminated those stocks.

I would try putting the candle scan first and make the other scans less
restrictive.

You can use the value/range slider and watch the count of how many stocks you have.

Hope that helps
Good Luck

Your PCF is correct, please re-do your EasyScan and you should get the following counts, be sure you update your personal critria formulas.

Bullish Engulfing: Type: Value: Count
WatchList: All Stocks: 6807
Price Per Share: Value: 19.75 to Max: 3043
Price Percent Change 5-Day: Value: Min to 0: 2295
Bullish Engulfing - PCF - True : 25

Thanks for the reply,

But, for some reasons, all of my PCF's (fx PCFs tab) always return 0 for the count with Watchlist: All Stocks and other exchanges(Nasdaq, Russell..). I even folow and do the same as in Use PCFs and EasyScan to find Bullish Engulfing Candlesticks by Graig S. in the Tutorial Videos section.

Close as % of Open Yesterday
(C / O1) * 100
Open as % of Close
(O / C) * 100
Open as % of Close Yesterday
(O / C1) * 100
Open Yest as % of Close Yest
(O1 / C1) * 100

Is there a way to resolve the problem? Please advise.

Your Bullish Engulfing PCF should be:
ABS(C1 - O1) > (H1 - L1) * 0.50 AND C1 < O1 AND C > O1 AND O < C1

Copy and paste this into your system, you should get the same counts as in my previous post, go step by step from the top with the same Values

All stocks
Price Per Share
Price Percent Change 5-Day
Bullish Engulfing PCF

Thanks for the quick replies,

The problem is that under Personal Criteria Formula (f* button) -> Change Personal Criteria Setting -> Calculate For: All Items in System should be chosen in Personal Critera Formulas panel. My installation default setting was Media General Industry Groups or I was playing around with the TC2005 when installing.

I appologize for the troubles.

Glad you figured it out, adimasxc. You are absolutely right....when you update your PCF's, you must do it for All Items in System. Don't know how your default was Media General Industry Groups...the system default is All Items in System. But now that you switched it, you should be fine.
